Emma Grace- Week 4:
Monday: Ava Joy has been begging us to go to Chuck E Cheese so we picked her up from school and went. It was nice because kids were still in school and it wasn't summer yet. Ava Joy had a blast and Emma Grace slept the whole time. Later in the afternoon Ava Joy had ballet. My sweet friend Marianna brought us dinner.
Tuesday: Jordan and I (and Emma Grace of course) went on our Tuesday breakfast date to Dixie Cream. Emma Grace had her first (real bath) and she didn't enjoy it at all. We had a nice easy day at home and went on a walk later in the afternoon. My sweet friend Kerri brought us dinner.
Wednesday: Ava Joy had "Mother's Day Tea" at school so I left Emma Grace with Daddy and headed up there. It was so special and adorable. Ava Joy's friend Kayla came over for a play date for the afternoon. Later in the evening my friend Lisa brought us dinner.
Thursday: My bff Andrea has been a complete lifesaver and on mornings Jordan can't take Ava Joy to school she picks her up- on this particular morning she got her a cake pop for breakfast- it was the first thing I heard about when I picked Ava Joy up from school. We came home and the three of us napped. Then later that evening friends from Jordan's work through us a welcome baby party. Ava Joy had fun playing with other kids and Emma Grace was happy and comfy snuggling me while I wore her.
Friday: When I picked Ava Joy up she requested we go to the library. I wore Emma Grace and she was a champ. Ava Joy played on the computer and checked out a few books. Then we headed to WalMart to pick up our grocery order. By the time we got home Ava Joy was about to lose her mind because she had to go to the bathroom so badly and Emma Grace had a full blown out diaper- 2 kids is a game changer. Ava Joy was amazing though- I had to come in a clean up the baby and nurse her and she got all of the groceries out of the car. Later that afternoon we went on a walk. The ice cream truck turned down our street but I didn't have cash on me. Luckily we were able to run in the house, grab money from Ava Joy's piggy bank, and make it back outside in time. Then we sat on the porch and Ava Joy enjoyed her snow cone. My friend from work, Caitlin, brought us dinner.
Saturday: We got up and met my friend Brittney and her son Blake at the Farmers Market. Emma Grace went in her stroller and slept the entire time we were there. It was an overcast morning which made more perfect weather. We walked around, listened to music, and the kids played. The rest of the day we spent relaxing at home.
Sunday: This was my first Mother's Day as a mother of 2. Jordan had to work in the morning so the girls and I snuggled and then got up and went on a walk together. Later that day we went to my friend Olivia's house and Jordan and Jeff cooked us "brunch" for dinner. On the way home we stopped at a park Ava Joy has been wanting to go to. It is still surreal to me that I am a mom of 2. I can't imagine my life without my babies and can't put into words how blessed I am that these two have been entrusted to us.

Overall...
Sleeping: Only in our arms.
Breastfeeding: Pretty sore- I've had two 24 hours sprees where I have only pumped and given her a bottle to try and help the soreness. Ava Joy has been a big help with this- she has fed her while I have pumped.
Overall disposition: Calm and chill just wants to be held all the time. She seems to be very serious.
