Well Mommy fail. I started this post three weeks ago. And each weekend I put it on my to do list to finish, yet here I am three weeks later finally getting around to finishing her 7 month post... only 5 days before my Ava Joy is 8 months. Oh well, better late than never, right?
My Princess is now 7 months old (as of 2 and a half weeks ago)! I can hardly believe it. We're somehow rapidly approaching her first birthday- which I'm already starting to plan! (Family and friends, that's right- mark June 22nd on your calendar!) I figure I can either dread it or look forward to it! She is changing and growing so quickly now! She has mastered crawling and is now pulling up on everything. She will even let go and stand on her own for a few seconds. She loves climbing all over me or Jordan while we lie on the floor. She holds on to the couch and dances when we put music on. When we ask her what an elephant says she blows through her lips and throws her head back. Pretty much adorable! She loves yogurt, avocado, mandarin oranges, and puffs. She definitely prefers feeding herself. She seems to understand what "no" means and actually stops doing something when I tell her no. (Like climbing up the entertainment center...) Sometimes it takes a couple of times of her turning back to look at me, start again, turning to look at me. Then she turns around and crawls away and I praise her.*
*Haha. How quickly things change. I wrote this a couple weeks ago and now my baby still sometimes listens but no longer so easily. She has begun to turn around and look at me and say "Naaaaaaa." Oh boy.
Also, another thing to add to finish this post, my baby FINALLY has a tooth! Her bottom right tooth popped through on Friday!
Everything she is doing shows me how my little baby is rapidly growing into a little person. She is such a happy, happy baby. We love her so much!
